About this opportunity 

Director Global Engineering

This position will focus on managing and leading the engineering department include: Process Engineering team, NPI team, Equipment and Test Engineering team, System Engineer, Electronic & Mechanical experts, Project management and global relevant dotted teams. Leading Mfg. Improvements and initiatives that impact yield, COGS, Cost of Non Quality and RMA failure investigation.

You will be responsible on production process stability by driving support and processes that impact floor performances. Lead NPI team with close work and alignment with R&D team to secure DFx transition to global operations. Leading the global ATE's and equipment maintenance, duplications and installation processes.

In this role, you will  

* Drive product production processes yield and performances.
* Lead the actions for CONQ/COGS/Quality improvement.
* Manage all NPI team activities with full alignment on iTero future products release and transferring to operation.
* Lead engineering department teams for excellence.
* Interface with other functions such as production, supply-chain and R&D
* Lead root cause analysis on product quality issues, identify trends, and communicate with QA/ R&D on a regular basis.
* Overall responsibility on global production lines process validation.
* Collaborate with the QA team to support process- related validations for manufacturing , jigs, etc.
* Set the yearly FPY, RMA, DOA KPI's and execute with the team
* Be responsible for evaluating current suppliers, approving new suppliers and disqualifying suppliers from the engineering perspective.

In this role, you'll need   

* B.Sc. in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanics, Materials, Chemistry, Biomed) or equivalent
* At least 7 years of experience in a managerial role
* Managerial skills and experience with leading global engineering teams
* Experience in NPI product transition to operation and close work with R&D teams.
* Experience in engineering in medical device industry
* Experience in production in active medical device.
* Experience in working with suppliers and subcontractors and contract manufacturers in multiple countries
* Knowledge in root cause investigation methods
