Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:

* Development, maintenance, and documentation of the Accounting System of Internal Control
* Planning, coordinating, and executing an efficient accounting and financial reporting system which provides data, as directed by the Parent Company, to the Parent Company for purposes of internal and external Financial Reporting as required by, among other Regulatory Bodies, The Securities and Exchange Commission (including under Sarbanes-Oxley), the Internal Revenue Service
* Regulatory compliance related to the Accounting System of Internal Controls as required by, among other agencies and governing bodies
* Creating and maintaining a periodic, quality internal reporting process to be used by Company Management for purposes of analyzing results of operations and making business and operating decisions about the direction of the Company
* Developing and maintaining a qualified staff that has the capabilities of executing the required actions necessary for complying with all Financial Reporting and Accounting Internal Controls as outlined by the Company
* Establishing and or making recommendations to management in regards to major corporate economic stages, objectives, and policies for Company
* Advising management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities
* Directing determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets
* Advising management on desirable operational adjustments to tax code revisions
* Arranges for audits of company's accounts
* Completing forms for tax refunds, organizing and maintaining tax records, and conducting tax studies
* This position directly oversees the Accounting, Cage, Warehouse and Revenue Audit

Qualifications:

* Must have Bachelor's degree, 7-10 years' experience in Finance, or a combination of education and experience
* Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook)
* Ability to understand and analyze Budget & P&L Statements, competitive information and develop plans with measurable results
* Well-developed guest and employee relations skills
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions 
* Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and leaders to drive property and Company initiatives
* Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced  work environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES                     

This job has asupervisory responsibilities. 

* Responsible for staff development and training programs. 

* Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement. 
* Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to team members in regards to performance. 
* Provides recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs. 
* Manages work procedures and expedites workflow. 
* Provides recommendation for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, and counseling). 

LANGUAGE SKILLS  

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required. 

REASONING ABILITY  

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS 

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations. Gaming License, and Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card are required.
