Responsibilities:

This position will be for both Omaha and Lincoln Nebraska Hospice locations

At CHI Health at Home we strive to embody our mission of delivering hope and healing to those we serve. The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) responsibilities include:

* Planning, direction, coordination, supervision, evaluation and provision of all clinical services provided by the assigned facility location. 
* Oversees the coordination, continuity, and quality of clinical care, as well as the management of patient services and monitors, evaluates, and takes action on clinical measures of performance. 
* Participates in the recruitment of associates, and provides the supervision necessary to facilitate the provision of quality care and patient satisfaction
* Leads the education, training, and development of associates.
* Ensures all patient referrals are handled appropriately, OASIS data input is correct and ensures patient's plan of care is individualized and appropriate.
* Completes assigned work flow accurately and in a timely manner.
* Reviews all occurrence and complaint reports and related follow up needed.
* All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Current RN (BSN preferred), Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy license in good standing.
* Three years management experience
* Two years clinical home care experience
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of regulatory home care requirements
* OASIS certified, or willing to obtain certification within the first two years of employment
* CPR or BLS certification (current).
* Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, train, develop, establish and maintain behavior and performance expectations, evaluate and manage associate performance.
* Excellent organizational, time management and administrative skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands effectively, use good judgment, as well as work independently and interdependently to achieve positive and timely results.
* Strong computer skills, familiar with multiple software programs including Windows based programs.
