				Overview:

AmTrust Financial Services is seeking a Claims Quality Assurance Director to lead a team of QA Specialists supporting liability lines. This role is responsible for evaluating claim quality and driving consistency across internal teams and TPAs, with a focus on coverage, liability investigation, reserving, litigation management, and settlement practices. The Director partners with claims leadership to identify trends, improve outcomes, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Responsibilities:

* Lead QA team conducting audits of liability claims (internal and TPA-handled).
* Establish QA standards, scorecards, and controls to ensure high-quality claim handling.
* Review claim files for coverage analysis, liability, damages, reserving, and litigation management.
* Analyze audit results, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
* Provide feedback and coaching to claims teams and TPAs.
* Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
* Deliver reporting and insights to senior leadership.
* Support TPA oversight, performance management, and due diligence.
* Manage team performance, development, and personnel decisions.

Qualifications:

* 10+ years of liability claims experience (professional liability, construction defect, general liability, cyber, etc).
* Prior QA, audit, or technical claims oversight experience preferred.
* 3+ years of leadership experience.
* Strong knowledge of coverage, tort law, and liability claims handling.
* Experience working with TPAs.
* Multi-jurisdictional expertise.
* Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Adjuster's license (or ability to obtain).
