Responsibilities:
The Director of Account Management, is responsible for managing the local, day-to-day relationship between KeHE Distributors and its customers - Save Mart and Town & Country. This position is accountable for the design and execution of a sustainable supply chain relationship which brings efficiencies to both businesses and delivers to service level expectations. Additionally, the Director will collaborate with customers to identify an item mix which will accelerate sales growth and income within the model. Key drivers for success in this position involve building and leveraging relationships with both organization's supply chain and operations teams to drive collaboration and continuous improvement. The Director is also responsible for managing a team of account management professionals. Qualifications:
* 4-year bachelor's degree in business preferred. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in grocery supply chain or equivalent operations experience.
* Solid track record of sales success including strategy, planning, and impeccable follow up.
* Excellent presentation skills including listening and asking impactful questions.
* Working knowledge of and literacy in computer software, including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
* Demonstrates the competencies of: building effective teams, financial acumen, ability to collaborate, demonstrates courage and manages complexities.
* Demonstrated ability to proactively recognize and pursue business opportunities
* Excellent verbal and written communication with people at all organizational levels.
* Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
* Ability and willingness to travel by air and stay overnight for business meetings and to attend buying shows, KeHE Shows, Expo West & Expo East.
* Ability and willingness to travel within assigned region by car.
