Being a Direct Support Professional has its Advantages
As a Direct Support Professional at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. We offer:
  Opportunities to learn and grow in the Behavioral Healthcare field
  Comprehensive training in crisis prevention/intervention, trauma informed care, CPR, first aid
  Flexible schedules that can work with school, family commitments, or other employment

Available Shifts: Full-time, part-time and on-call available. Days 7am-3pm, Evenings 3pm-11pm, Weekends (varied shifts).

Pay rates: Full-time and part-time, $17.25-19.67

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Adult Services provides programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our main campus is located in Berwyn PA. Our dedicated team of over 900 staff ranging from highly-specialized clinicians and nurses to recreational and direct staff professionals, all work to one common goal the happiness, self-fulfillment and social integration of each adult in our community. As a direct support professional you will assist in daily living activities, including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation and documentation to include shift reports, incident reports and individual progress reports. You will maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional and personal needs of the individuals we serve.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required, diploma's acquired outside of the US must be evaluated
One (1) year of human service experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age
Must possess and maintain valid driver's license
