As a Direct Care Professional (DCP), you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. As a DCP, you will also use your experience and education in Psychology, Sociology, Education or other related field to:

* Actively assist our individuals with their individualized plans for daily living and ensure our individuals are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment.

* Assist with the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.

* Plan and participate in community outings, and schedule/transport our individuals to doctor's appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.

* Be a mentor to other staff and conduct observations and provide feedback for required trainings.

Payrates: Starting rates $17.75-20.49 hr depending on education/experience. On-Call/PRN: $20.00/hr.   

                Build your own rate up to $21.80/hr (maximum experience and C.N.A.) with the shift differential and our TOB Exchange program!

                - Exchange 40 hours of Time Off for an additional .38 cents per hour, or 80 hours for an additional .77 cents per hour!

                - Additional $0.30 Evening shift differential, $0.50 Overnight shift differential

                - Additional .29 cents per hour is you have an active C.N.A.

Available Shifts: Full-time, part-time and on-call. Days 7am-3pm, Evenings 3pm-11pm, Overnights 11pm-7am. Power weekend (40 hours Friday through Sunday) considered. 

Locations: Tobyhanna, Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg, Scranton, Dickson City, Mount Pocono, Newfoundland, Greentown, Cresco and Canadensis.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. Located in Newfoundland, PA, this position is responsible for developing and implementing the overall Residential Program to meet the individual needs of Pocono Center clients.

Qualifications:

*  Bachelor Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, education OR other related field or High School Diploma with 12 years relevant Human Service experience required.

*  Previous experience preferred (not required) working with individuals with psychological, emotional and behavioral disorders, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders.

*  Driver's license is required.
