PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Dir, Program Delivery - Decision Management at our Tysons, Virginia location.  The primary purpose of this job is to perform advanced managerial work providing direction and guidance for all project deliveries within the Decision Management division. This position will translate the vision of the work into a comprehensive plan while driving execution, and building a strong relationship with the program stakeholders to ensure that department goals are achieved. This position will also perform complex management activities including providing direction and guidance to direct reports/contractors, establishing priorities, and driving the execution of strategic and tactical plans.

* Provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction essential to ensuring efficient and effective project delivery or the Decision Management Execution team.
* Establish goals and performance metrics, ensuring plans are in place and properly executed, organizing the work based upon best practices, and oversee day-to-day operations of the team and contractors.
* Lead scheduling of projects based on department's priorities and applies an advanced understanding of business needs in the achievement of short and long-term business goals and objectives.
* Interface directly with task leads, the project manager, other vendors, and the customer to manage the planning, testing, deployment and early life support for new and existing programs.
* Oversee project progress, making timely decisions as needed to ensure the project remains on schedule, within budget, and deliverables meet quality and acceptance criteria.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners including Technology, Compliance, User Experience, Call Center Operations, Branch and others involved as stakeholders in the transformation of our Deposit products.
* Establish a strong relationship with third-party entities to ensure a proactive understanding of technical capabilities, effectively support enhancements and problem resolution in the assigned systems.
* Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement with vendors with a goal  of year-over-year improvement in vendor service provided, quality, and/or cost.
* Develop and deliver program status briefings to the program stakeholders and corporate leadership.
* Oversee analysts to achieve team's strategic goals, training and assisting development of skills and cultivating credit culture
* Provide thoughtful leadership and foster collaboration towards the attainment of corporate goals.

Qualifications:

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field is required.  Master's Degree is preferred.
* Minimum of twelve (12) years' of experience in technical program management and delivery in application development/ management, and production support is required.
* Minimum of five (5) year' of direct management experience is required.
* Knowledge of FICO's Loan Origination Systems (LOS) is preferred.
* Experience in managing delivery in an integrated environment where multiple service teams produce and deliver discreet components and services to create a successful product/outcome.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position will supervise employees.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*

Travel

Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call is required.
