				Overview:

The Director of Clinical Analytics has responsibility for implementing and managing clinical quality data & analytics programs for all Novant Health with focused analysis and support for improving safety and quality, reducing clinical variation, and helping with value based care transformation. In addition, the Director of Clinical Analytics provides thought leadership and acts as a subject matter expert in designing and recommending appropriate analytical approaches and methodology in addressing key issues within the business. The Director of Clinical Analytics leads the data analytics teams in research, development, and implementation of appropriate data systems that lead to improved patient outcomes, provider performance and achievement of overall Novant Health patient care goals.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelors or equivalent experience building and maintaining analytics applications in a large organization required.
* Experience: Minimum five to seven years leading and working in a large health system with revenues greater than 1 billion. Leadership experience required.  
* Additional skills required:  Knowledge of statistical processes, database management and healthcare organizations' operation is required. Knowledge of CMS and other payer mandates governing healthcare and reimbursement, and TJC standards. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and platform skills a must. Ability to effectively deal with people in a variety of settings and situations.
* Physical requirements: S-Sedentary Work - lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, including the human body, weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of weight frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time). Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
* Travel: travel between Novant facilities and regions on a weekly basis required.
