				Overview:

Digital Products & Services (DPS) team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute an information security incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities. The DPS Solutions Architect I is a strategic partner who shares ownership for the development and rigorous application of a digital strategy that provides business value. The DPS Solution Architect supports relationships with corporate/clinical partners and serves as a single point of focus, working to develop a technology strategy that delivers value streams. The DPS Solutions Architect I surfaces and shapes demand for capabilities and ensures that business value from those capabilities is realized. The DPS Solutions Architect I contributes in a matrixed structure that reports to DPS capability owners, as well as participates in an Enterprise Architecture Community of practice, reporting to the Enterprise Architecture Council.

Qualifications:

* Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. High School or GED, required.
* Experience: Three years in architecture roles preferred, preferred.
* Licensure/Certification: TOGAF-9, CITA-F, ITIL-F, COBIT-5, CISSP-ISSAP, or equivalent, preferred. 
* Additional Skills/Requirements (required):
* Intermediate skill to engage and quickly build understanding of the business context in which they are operating.
* Intermediate knowledge of technologies (past, current, emerging) that support business capabilities within scope of engagement and partnership.
* Intermediate knowledge of information technology design principles and practices.
* Intermediate knowledge of information technology frameworks (ISO, COBIT, ITIL, etc.).
* Intermediate diagramming skills (process, component, entity, logical, physical).
* Intermediate requirements definition and evaluation.
* Advanced writing, speaking, and presenting skills.
* Intermediate problem-solving skills.
* Advanced communication skills, with emphasis on translating technical topics in business terms
* Ability to positively influence others and to break down organizational barriers.
* Ability to facilitate collaboration and negotiation.
* Ability to think strategically.
* Leadership skills.
* Ability to be assertive.
* Ability to inspire and motivate.

* Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred): 
* Knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF, IASA).
