Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Digital Forensics Instructor to develop and deliver training on digital forensics principals and techniques. This position will be located in Columbia MD, and will be an on-site position.
Responsibilities:
Plans, develops, and implements technical product or system training programs for customers, and/or employees, and field support personnel. Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules. Obtains information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software and product requirements to prepare training programs; prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions, demonstrations, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Requires prior technical subject matter knowledge and experience. May administer tests. May include military trainers.
* Creating and updating lesson plans, ensuring alignment with industry standards, and delivering engaging instruction
* Providing practical exercises and simulations to reinforce learning and develop practical skills
* Conducting hands-on labs and exercises using digital forensics tools and techniques.
* Evaluating student performance through tests, assignments, and projects, providing feedback to help them improve
* Continuously researching and integrating new developments in digital forensics and cybersecurity.
Qualifications:
High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
* Clearance Required: Secret
* 6+ years of experience delivering advanced cybersecurity training with experience in operational digital forensics experience across diverse platforms.
* Skilled in instruction (ISD, ADDIE, Bloom's taxonomy, SAMR), digital forensics techniques, platform proficiency, and communication.
* IAT Level II or higher
