Now Hiring: Remote Registered Dietitian (Consistent Weekend Coverage) - Novant Health
Novant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Registered Dietitian to provide weekend nutrition coverage for multiple acute care facilities, including:
* Scott's Hill Medical Center
* Pender Memorial Medical Center
* Brunswick Medical Center
* New Hanover Ortho Medical Center
This position supports patient-centered clinical nutrition services remotely across the regional network and plays a key role in delivering high-quality nutritional care and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Schedule:
* Remote position
* Every other weekend (8 hours per week)
* Saturday & Sunday coverage required
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct nutrition assessments and reassessments for hospitalized patients
* Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
* Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education
* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
* Document nutrition interventions and recommendations in the electronic medical record
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical standards

Qualifications:
* Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelors in dietetics, nutrition, foods and nutrition.
* Graduate Degree, preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Clinical Dietitian, preferred.
* Licensure/Certification: Registered Dietitian status by the commission on Dietetic Registration, required.
* Licensed Dietitian in appropriate state, required.
* Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Knowledge, ability and skills to support patient education and patient engagement in self-care management to accommodate cultural diversity, age specific or behavior needs among the patients being served.
* Additional Skills (preferred): Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to relay information to diverse audiences for one-on-one consultations, small and large group presentations; dynamic presence for media interviews, health fairs and other invited presentations/appearances.
