Join our team as a Clinical Dietitian! We're looking for a dedicated professional who demonstrates strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication, and a passion for patient-centered care. In this role, you'll help shape the nutritional care experience for patients and families, while working alongside a supportive and collaborative healthcare team. Responsibilities: * Assess nutritional needs for patients and families, providing targeted education and timely referrals to ensure continuity of care. * Develop individualized plans of care using a collaborative, patient‑ and family‑focused approach. * Deliver exceptional care aligned with established policies, procedures, and standards of practice. * Utilize strong critical‑thinking skills and independent judgment to support patient outcomes. * Maintain responsibility and accountability for the nutritional status of assigned patients. * Provide clinical education for outpatient programs such as Cardiac Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab, in‑service staff trainings, and requested community sessions Qualifications: Education: * Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics /Food and Nutrition from an accredited program. Licensure/Certification: * Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed by the state of Iowa or registry eligible Experience: * 1-2 years of hospital clinical Dietetic preferred Other: * Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to all the ages of the patients served on his/her assigned unit. Able to perform physical assessment on patients that meet the criteria. * Writes, reads, comprehends, and speaks fluent English. * Basic computer knowledge using word, email, and internet.
