Responsibilities:

* Prepare and serve a variety of meals for patients, residents, cafeteria guests, and catering needs
* Review menus and ensure food is prepared daily that maintains food quality, appearance, and portion standards. 
* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature guidelines
* Keep kitchen, cooking, and dishwashing areas clean and organized
* Properly store, label, and date food items
* Deliver patient trays and nourishment items on time
* Monitor and record refrigerator and dish machine temperatures
* Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, trays, and utensils correctly
* Assist with inventory and communicate supply needs to leadership
* Support patient satisfaction through teamwork, communication, compassion, and service exellence

Qualifications:

Education
* High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience
* Two years of restaurant or institutional food service experience preferred
Additional Skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Strong focus on cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Dependable with a strong commitment to customer service and patient satisfaction
