We are committed to your growth and success! * Extensive and thorough orientation program * Team oriented environment * A 401(k) retirement plan with company match * A network of over 50,000 employees nationwide with relocation and advancement opportunities Responsibilities: You will ensure that the nursing care plan is being followed by being a Champion of the Select Medical Way, which includes putting the patient first, helping to improve quality of life for the community in which you live and work, continuing to develop and explore new ideas, providing high-quality care and doing well by doing what is right. * Initiating an on-going systematic assessment of patients. * Providing nursing care to meet the needs of the hemodialysis patient. * Interpreting assessment data and information. * Ensuring that medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately. * Demonstrating skills in handling emergency and life-threatening situations. * Teaching and counseling patients/families. Qualifications: You will demonstrate an understanding of patient needs, ensuring that each patient feels informed and understood, as well as heard. You are passionate about providing superior quality care and you are an inventive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment. Minimum requirements: * Valid temporary or permanent State Registered Nurse License. * BLS required. ACLS required within 6 months of hire. * 1 year of hemodialysis experience required. Preferred qualifications that will make you successful: * Hemodialysis in the acute care setting or acute care nursing experience preferred.
