Diagnostic Technician I - Infirmary Medical Clinics

				Overview:

Responsibilities:

Provides physicians with clinical data necessary for patient treatment by performing diagnostic and patient evaluation procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications (Level I):

* Demonstrates written, interpersonal, or communication skills as appropriate to position
* Basic knowledge of telemetry monitoring and/or laboratory and/or imaging or completion of approved training program for a Medical Assistant

Minimum Qualifications (Level II):

* All of the above, including working knowledge of lab and/or imaging 

Licensure/Registration/Certification:

* BLS

Desired Qualifications:

* Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCPBOC)
