DevOps Engineer - AWS

Full Time | Location: Mexico City | Hybrid Model

About the Role:

We are looking for a DevOps professional who is proactive and has strong technical skills to join our team. In this role, the person will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and automated cloud solutions. This position will work closely with development and operations teams to drive continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation using AWS and modern DevOps tools. The role is key to promoting agility, efficiency, and innovation in our clients' environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using AWS services (e.g., CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit) and/or third-party tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

* Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and/or Terraform.

* Deploy and manage containerization and orchestration solutions (e.g., Docker, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, AWS Fargate).

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

* Professional Experience: Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering roles within AWS environments. 
* Hands-on experience in designing and implementing robust and automated CI/CD pipelines.

* Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong proficiency in AWS CloudFormation and/or Terraform. Experience with AWS CDK is a plus.

* Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.

* Practical experience with Docker and at least one of the following technologies: Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, or AWS Fargate.

* Automation and scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

* Core AWS DevOps services: In-depth knowledge of services such as IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, and the AWS Code* suite (CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline).

* Monitoring and logging: Experience with Amazon CloudWatch (Logs, Metrics, Alarms), and preferably with tools such as the ELK Stack or Prometheus/Grafana.
