Responsibilities: Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session. Architecting a scalable, cost-efficient cloud platform that serves as the "North Star" for next-generation AI applications and distributed systems. This role bridges the gap between infrastructure and innovation by designing specialized LLMOps and RAG pipelines that leverage the full AWS AI landscape. By enforcing rigorous automation and FinOps practices, you will ensure our high-scale container environments remain resilient, secure, and optimized for high-velocity metadata management. What Success Looks Like * Design specialized LLMOps infrastructure and RAG pipelines utilizing AWS Bedrock and SageMaker to accelerate AI model deployment * Govern multi-region Amazon EKS clusters via GitOps to manage high-scale container orchestration and distributed AI workloads * Enforce infrastructure standards through Terraform or AWS CDK to achieve 100% automation of cluster provisioning and storage configurations * Develop resilient, event-driven ecosystems using AWS Lambda and API Gateway to support decoupled microservices and asynchronous messaging * Optimize GPU and Token spend through established FinOps practices while embedding "Security by Design" via OPA policies Qualifications: Core Skills and Competencies * Expertise in AWS cloud networking and security, including VPC design, Transit Gateways, and granular policy enforcement * Advanced proficiency in container orchestration using Amazon EKS, Karpenter, and Istio to manage complex stateful workloads * AI literacy and application skills, specifically with LangChain, Vector Databases, and the AWS AI/ML stack * Strong programming and automation abilities in Python or Go to build robust CI/CD pipelines for machine learning * Ability to architect serverless workflows and optimize DynamoDB for high-velocity data orchestration * Collaborative leadership skills to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional architecture reviews for distributed platform tools Minimum Requirements * Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field * Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure * Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 5 years of experience with: * Amazon EKS and Container Orchestration * Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK)
