JOB PURPOSE:

The Detail Specialist plays a dual role in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and assisting with parts inventory and logistics. This hybrid position ensures both a pristine vehicle presentation for customers and seamless parts coordination to support efficient shop operations.

Responsibilities:

Detailing Responsibilities (approx. 50%)

* Perform interior and exterior vehicle cleaning to prepare for customer delivery.
* Conduct pre-wash on vehicles before repairs or detailing.
* Buff vehicles (preferred but not required).
* Move vehicles within the facility to support workflow efficiency.
* Maintain shop cleanliness and organization, including removing debris and trash.
* Monitor and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals.

Parts Support Responsibilities (approx. 50%)

* Receive and match delivered parts to repair orders.
* Inspect all incoming parts for quality and damage.
* Return incorrect or damaged parts promptly to vendors.
* Communicate regularly with vendors to track parts delivery status.
* Ensure accurate parts invoicing and corrections within the estimating platform.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Automotive experience or interest preferred, but not required.
* Must pass a background check and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
