				Overview:

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician in the McConnellsburg, PA area.

Responsibilities:

* Provide quick reaction-like help desk support to customers via telephone, email and in-person
* Providing customer service support telephonically and electronically
* Training and guidance in the operation of supported intelligence websites and portals
* Customer support-desk functions, and related tasks  
* Desktop Support Technician is responsible for monitoring the ticket queue for any new or incomplete tickets assigned to them and working with the Queue Manager(s) and customer to resolve all open tickets. 
* Desktop Support Technician must be able to troubleshoot/resolve/document any technical issues/problems and provide excellent professional customer service to clients at all levels within the organization during the entire support process
* Enterprise infrastructure experience with hardware availability and configuration, operating systems, applications, data communication software, utilities and support systems
* Experience with identification, evaluation of, and resolution for, hardware and software failures
* Understanding of basic networking technologies and principles
* Must have the ability to work in a demanding environment, managing multiple priorities
* A high level of discretion and ability to work with confidential information is required; management skills and experience preferred

Qualifications:

* Associates or Bachelor's Degree in related field
* Excellent customer service skills
* 2+ years of overall IT support experience for desktops, laptops, mobile, and other peripheral devices
* 1 or more years of recent IT Desktop Support experience - installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and managing software and hardware
* Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office
* Experience with desktop integration to Active Directory
* Experience troubleshooting and installing printers
* Experience with remote connectivity and mobile devices
