Overview: Colliers Engineering & Design is on the lookout for a driven Design Technician to join our dynamic Bridges & Structures team in New Windsor, NY! Responsibilities: * Perform design, drafting, and project related tasks on assigned projects. * Assist in the set up and drafting of project base maps by analyzing utility drawings and sketches, notes and other input material to determine the best approach for the completion of drawings. * Work from detailed sketches to produce computer-generated plans, profiles and section drawings. * Conform to the company's standard CAD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout. * Work with numerous project teams to help in project completion. * Coordinate details and dimensions between drawing sheets. Qualifications: * High School Diploma/GED is required; Associates Degree or higher is preferred. * 5+ years of related experience. * Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. * Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. Compensation: $22.07 to $25.53 per hour (depending on qualifications)
