Job Title: Deputy Program Manager

Location: Tampa, FL

This position is pending contract award.

Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Deputy Program Manager to support, manage, and oversee the EAGLE-I contract onsite in Tampa, FL. 

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Second-in-command to the PM, running day-to-day execution. 
* Orchestrates task orders, staffing, surge plans, and cross-team dependencies
* Maintains trackers/metrics and prepares briefs. 
* Leads issue/risk management, drives action closure, and backstops PM in customer engagements, reviews, and contract deliverables

* Responsible for staffing, formulating and enforcing work standards, creating personnel schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, and communicating Government policies, purposes, and goals to employees.
* Manage and oversee all aspects of delivery for products, projects, integrated solutions, and services.
* Responsible for standardized, compliant delivery of projects 
* Direct and manage projects, tasks, personnel, and other resources (both internally and externally) while being the primary liaison among customers, employees, and corporate leadership regarding status, deliverables, performance/quality, and personnel.
* Establish and maintain a documented set of disciplined, mature, and continuously improving processes for administering all TO efforts with an emphasis on cost-efficiency, schedule, performance, responsiveness, and consistently high-quality delivery.
* Use key performance parameters to monitor work performance, measure results, ensure delivery of contracted services, support management and decision-making, and facilitate communications.
* Identify risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions. 
* Implement and maintain processes that ensure problems and action items discussed with the Government are tracked through resolution. 
* Provide timely status reporting and results of contractor actions taken to improve performance.
* Identify potential cost reduction/mitigation initiatives, efficiencies, and process improvements on a continuing basis and address their progress during Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
* Work closely with, and in support of other internal organizations, including engineering, finance, contracts/subcontracts, business development, purchasing, and recruiting.
* Ensure that all government regulatory guidance and corporate procedures are adhered to across multiple programs.
* Work closely with customers and internal corporate resources to ensure the proper execution in all areas of service delivery.
* Support PM as the interface between Government customers and internal corporate resources on contractual and technical matters, perform formal and informal briefings and program reviews, as well as the oversight of quality and delivery of data items, technical/scope compliance and overall effectiveness of support.
* Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

* Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
* Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
* Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last eight (8) years managing projects that are of a similar scope and complexity. 
* Program Management Professional (PgMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or Bachelors Degree. May be obtained within 120 days of start.
