Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Perianesthesia Manager this position is responsible for performing unit support activities for departments of: PAT and PreOp. This position provides both front and back office activities during office hours including: reception; scheduling; chart set up/tear down; filing; copying;report distribution; physician office interfacing; scanning documents to HIMS and handling phones. Updates and maintains data entry as assigned. Provides relevant data retrieval.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
* Two years of experience in a medical office setting, with full scope of reception, electronic scheduling, filing, and multi-line phone skills
* Type 50 wpm.
* Proficiency working with Electronic scheduling and patient software charting and data base programs
* Proficiency working with window based computer systems, Excel, Outlook, and word experience
