Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a Land Development Department Manager who will perform duties in support of the direction and vision of the overall civil/site land development discipline in Maitland, FL. Oversee, direct, and manage the work effort of assigned staff. Oversee the professional development of the assigned staff.

Responsibilities:

* Reviews and manages operations to ensure the quality of the technical products
* Establishes effective long-range objectives, goals, and plans for assigned team
* Provides technical and management leadership to the assigned team
* Develops marketing program in conjunction with discipline goals
* Advises and assists professionals in other groups when expert knowledge and expertise is required
* Manages activities so an adequate profit is earned on all projects
* Reviews monthly productivity and man-hour utilization-rates, reports and makes adjustments as needed
* Assigns projects to staff and schedules work
* Evaluate Employee Performance in accordance with company policy
* Oversees assigned staff development and advancement

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
* 12+ years in related field
* Professional licensure in area of expertise
* Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees

* Strategic thinking

* Effective delegation skills

* Collaboration

Ability to hold others accountable

* Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
