Overview: Dental Hygienist Part-Time; FTE 0.4 (16 hours/week) 8:00am-4:30pm Summers Off - Unpaid Muscatine, IA Provide oral health instruction, dental screenings, fluoride, sealants, SDF application, prophylaxis, and follow-up care coordination for grant funded programs at Trinity Muscatine Public Health. Responsibilities: * Provides dental screenings, fluoride varnish applications, and/or sealants as gap-filling services. * Provides SDF application in urgent care gap-filling situations. * Provides dental prophylaxis in gap-filling situations. * Provides follow-up care coordination for oral health, as needed. * Performs other related clinical duties as assigned. * Adheres to dental hygiene practice standards as described by the Iowa Board of Dental Examiners. Qualifications: Education: * Graduate from an accredited Dental Hygiene School and current professional Dental Hygiene Iowa license. Experience: * Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist. License(s)/Certiciation(s): * Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
