As a Demand Planner, you will optimize the supply chain by aligning customer demand with production and inventory strategies. You will lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for video services and leverage data-driven insights to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the monthly video services S&OP process, partnering with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to align demand forecasts with market trends and seasonality
* Build and maintain advanced demand forecasting models that incorporate pricing changes, promotions, competitive activity, and historical performance
* Segment products based on demand variability and predictability to determine and apply the most effective forecasting methodologies
* Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts while balancing service levels and carrying costs
* Partner with Product Development to forecast demand for new product launches and manage end-of-life (EOL) product transitions
* Lead demand reviews and scenario planning, including "what-if" analyses, to assess forecast accuracy, identify SLOB inventory risks, and recommend actions to optimize sales, subscriber growth, and profitability
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
* ASCP, CPIM, or CSCP certifications are highly preferred
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proficiency with data and analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, and machine learning techniques to support forecasting and decision-making
* Advanced technical skills in Excel, statistical software, demand planning platforms, and ERP systems
* Strong ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights and supply chain strategies with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Solid understanding of supply chain operations, including inventory management, demand planning, and production planning
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
* Experience with financial budgeting, project management, or Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Denver
