Responsibilities:
* Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
* Responsible for deep cleaning guest rooms, hallways, and service areas according to established standards and procedures.
* Ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, organized, and attractive. - Reports any safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
* Adheres to departmental uniform standards.
* Attends all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings as scheduled.
* Follows established protocol when entering and cleaning guest rooms.
* Deep cleans elevators and other areas as assigned.
* Maintains a list of rooms/areas that have been deep cleaned.
* Reports room status on Room Attendant sheets.
* Restocks Housekeeping Deep Cleaner cart with guest supplies and cleaning solutions.
* Reports damage, improvement, or repair issues in the guest rooms or hotel area to the appropriate Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
* Responds to reasonable guest requests or places guest in contact with the appropriate person for assistance.
* Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
* Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of previous cleaning experience preferred.
* Must have effective written and verbal communication skills; must be able to speak and understand English.
* Must have good customer service skills.
* Must have strong time management skills and the ability to maintain an acceptable pace and quality of work.
* Ability to identify circumstances or incidents that require the notification and/or approval of others.
* Ability to learn predefined protocols for carrying out cleaning tasks.
* Ability to follow verbal directions.
* Ability to evaluate the quality of guest area cleanliness.
* Must be able to perform the physical essential functions of the job.
* Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
