Responsibilities:

SUMMARY:  Adheres to Hollywood and government policies and regulations regarding table games and poker; ensures that during games the procedure for dealing a game are followed. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

* Protection of the integrity of the game at all times. 
* Notify floor person of any irregularities. 
* Keep the pace of the game as fast and smooth as possible. 
* Insure that bets are within rules and limits allowed. 
* Change currency for gaming checks. 
* Notify Floor person immediately of any irregularities or any customer requests which are outside of a dealer's authority or knowledge. 
* Provide customers with information on how to play the game if desired.
* Provide positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
* Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
* Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

AUTHORITY TO ISSUE COMPS: No

ACCESS TO GAMING AREA REQUIRED: Yes

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* 21 years of age or older 
* Completion of Dealers School or six (6) months of experience as a Dealer with at least two (2) high-volume, main games (Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, etc.) required. 
*  Must have strong verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English. 
*  Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. 
*  Knowledgeable of applicable state gaming laws and regulations. 
* Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. 
* Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues. 
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. 
*  Highly organized and detail oriented. 
*  Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately to figure payoffs. 
*  Ability to work any shift or hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
