Overview: The Data Scientist Level 2 is responsible for understsanding business needs and goals and leveraging statistical methods and tools in order to interpret data and extract insights that support decision-making. Responsibilities: * Collaborate and perform moderate to complex analytical experiments. Analyze data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with clear objectives in mind. * Work closely with the engineering team in the development of data deliverables for business consumption. * Adhere to, and enhance, data visualization best practices. * Collect, analyze, manipulate and aggregate data for analysis from various data sources. * Develop and utilize basic to moderate algorithms and models to perform data and error analysis to improve models; clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy. * Report on findings and make recommendations; summarize analyses into clear, concise and effective presentations. Provide training and guidance on how to interpret and apply data. * Assist with special projects, as assigned. * Perform data integrity audits. * Develop, document, and track metrics and/or dashboards. Qualifications: * Fluent in English * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * Minimum 2 Years Experience as a Data Scientist / Statistician * Demonstrated success in performing analysesGood oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact * Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills * Good collaboration and interpersonal skills, aable to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department * Good Microsoft Excel skills * Good facilitation and project management skill * Good data gathering, interviewing, and analytical/problem solving skills * Good critical thinking and problem solving skills * Good understanding of relational, NoSQL, big data, and graph databases * Advanced understanding of statistics and modeling approaches * Advanced understanding of chart selection and finer details of readability, interpretation, and presentationAbility to use original thinking to translate goals into the implementation new ideas and design solutions * Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with oversight * Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate and mobilize team members and business partners * Good ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies * Good knowledge of systems administration * Good knowledge of Linux, Microsoft and/or Unix Operating systems * Up to 5% travel time required
