About the Role
The Data Governance Lead guides the development and execution of a data governance framework, applying governance practices that result in data that is understood, trusted, accessible, accurate and secure. The position works collaboratively with a cross functional team to identify and implement key governance capabilities in support of business and data strategy objectives.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain and promote key data governance deliverables/assets, including data policies, data standards, data roles and frameworks
* Serve as a resource to champion data governance initiatives, driving cultural change and adoption to ensure the long-term sustainability of data governance objectives
* Define and communicate data governance measurements and standards to track adoption, program performance, and related KPIs
* Document, assess, influence and synthesize business requirements to develop, enable and advance data governance and stewardship capabilities
* Partner with Legal, Information Security, Privacy and others to ensure compliance and security of data including how to manage data (masking, encrypting, pseudonymizing, synonymizing)
* Participates in defining and implementing guiding principles for how the organization acquires, transforms accesses, and uses data
* Facilitation of the Data Governance Office processes and procedures
* Manage the escalation process and consult on exception management

Qualifications:
Minimum:
* Bachelor's Degree required
* Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
* Must have seven years of experience in roles related to data quality, data governance, data management or data analytics
* Must have five or more years of relevant experience in managing Data Governance programs
* Must five years of experience working with Data Governance tools (i.e., Informatica, Reltio, Collibra)
* Must have a strong knowledge of data quality and data management practices
Preferred:
* A Bachelor's Degree computer science, mathematics, business analytics, finance or related field
* Active participant of a full life cycle data governance related implementation
