Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT/ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.
* Implement modern data architecture patterns, including medallion architecture (bronze, silver, and gold layers), to optimize data storage and processing.
* Develop and maintain data integration solutions across multiple data sources, including structured and unstructured data.
* Optimize data storage and processing for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency within the Azure ecosystem.
* Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance by implementing data governance best practices.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
* Develop and maintain documentation for data workflows, architecture, and operational processes.
* Collaborate with data analysts, business intelligence teams, and data scientists to support data-driven initiatives and reporting needs.
* Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend data architecture and processing framework improvements.
* Support data migrations and integrations across legacy systems and modern Azure-based solutions.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Experience may substitute for education.
* Five years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
* Skilled in SQL and Python for data transformation and manipulation.
* Proven experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure Automation, and Azure Logic Apps.
* Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
* Strong experience implementing medallion architecture and modern data design patterns.
* Experience in real estate, specifically real estate management, is preferred.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure Automation, and Azure Logic Apps.
* Knowledge of data governance, data lineage, and security best practices in cloud environments.
* Skilled in writing efficient and scalable SQL queries and scripting with Python. Additional Scala experience would be a bonus.
* Skilled in developing, deploying, and managing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration processes.
* Skilled with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
* Skilled with REST and SOAP APIs to transfer data between systems.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to understand business processes, recommend and implement improvements for efficiency and accuracy through the company at corporate and operational levels.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
* May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
* Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
Work Environment:
* This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week.
* The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
