Responsibilities:
As a Data Analyst within the In-Home Services Command Center, you will join a strategic organization dedicated to driving nationwide field efficiency. This multifaceted role bridges the gap between complex data and human impact by overseeing the end-to-end administration of incentive compensation. You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, modeling financial impacts of plan changes, and serving as a trusted partner to field leadership. We are looking for a critical thinker who can leverage SQL, Python, or other analytical softwares to automate processes while maintaining the high level of accuracy and empathy required for incentive management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the end-to-end calculation and processing of incentive payments for field technicians, sales reps, and service managers
* Audit data from Field Service Management software to ensure work orders, parts usage, and labor hours align with compensation rules
* Build and maintain reporting that allow field employees to track their earnings and performance in near real-time
* Perform "What-If" analysis to predict the financial impact of changes to the compensation structure
* Act as a primary point of contact for the field team regarding incentive compensation, providing clear and empathetic explanations of complex payout logic
* Identify opportunities to automate manual data entry and calculation steps using SQL, Python, or specialized ICM (Incentive Compensation Management) software
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Business or related field (Business Administration, Finance, Business Development Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Education)
* 3-5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Experience manipulating large datasets in a business environment required
* SQL/R/Python experience preferred
Skills and Qualifications:
* Advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, complex formulas) and experience with SQL for data extraction
* The ability to spot a "needle in the haystack" when data doesn't look right
* Ability to translate complex mathematical formulas into plain English for non-technical field staff
* Willing to take risks, try innovative approaches, be adaptable to change, and learn from failures
