Responsibilities:
Junior Teradata DBA
Would you like to grow your career working with cloud technologies and modern data platforms?Are you motivated by learning from global teams while building experience in database administration and optimization?
Being part of this team means contributing to the administration and evolution of modern data platforms, supporting critical processes for global projects and clients. You will gain exposure to cloud technologies, automation, and operational best practices while strengthening your experience in collaborative and continuous learning environments.
How a day to day would look like in this role:
* Support database administration and monitoring activities across GCP and Teradata environments.
* Assist with data loading, validation, and execution of data pipelines.
* Participate in platform maintenance, performance optimization, and availability tasks.
* Support automation initiatives and CI/CD deployment processes.
* Collaborate with Data Engineering and Cloud teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields, with an interest in database administration, cloud platforms, and data ecosystems. Initial experience or knowledge in GCP technologies, monitoring, and automation is valued.
Required Skills
* Basic knowledge or initial experience with Teradata.
* Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, or Pub/Sub.
* Basic knowledge of SQL and database administration.
* Interest or initial experience in CI/CD and automation processes.
* Basic knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.
