				Responsibilities:

As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and prevention of various diseases by examining cellular samples under a microscope. Your expertise in identifying abnormal cells and interpreting their significance will aid in providing accurate and timely diagnoses for our patients.

* Perform microscopic examinations of cellular samples, including Pap smears, fine needle aspirations, body fluid specimens, and other specimens as required.
* Identify and classify cellular abnormalities, such as precancerous and cancerous cells, infectious agents, and other pathological conditions.
* Accurately document and interpret findings using established protocols and guidelines.
* Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss abnormal findings and provide additional information for patient management.
* Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure proper functionality and quality assurance.
* Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Stay updated with the latest advances in cytology techniques and participate in continuing education to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
* Assist with quality control measures and participate in proficiency testing programs.
