Cyber Security Engineer (SME)

				Overview:

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Cybersecurity Engineer SME to support a Zero-Trust Architecture modernization project. This position will be located at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX and will be an onsite position. 

Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Experience 

* Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI 

* CISSP Certification or higher 

* Technical experience with multiple operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, or ESXi 

* Experience with STIG compliance, vulnerability management, and application of risk management framework to both legacy and new systems deployments. 

* Experience with USAF cyber governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms Xacta and eMASS 

* Understanding and experience with the DoD hardware/software approval process 

* Strong understanding of network architecture 

* Familiar with identity management solutions and SIEM software 

Qualifications:

High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

* Clearance Required: TS/SCI

Preferred Skills and Experience 

* CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP certification 

* Experience with Unix operating system 

* Experience working with a zero-trust architecture
