Overview:
GovCIO is hiring for a Customer Support Professional (IT Specialist) with an active Secret clearance to provide outstanding desk-side support, regularly scheduled backups, network storage allocation, and preventative maintenance. This position will be located in Fairfax, Virginia and will be a fully onsite position.
Responsibilities:
* Provide requirements assessments, market surveys, materials provisioning, logistics support, and related acquisition support documentation for current and future equipment and materials requirements, including workstations, communication equipment, servers, storage systems, software, and peripheral devices.
* Track mainstream technology market trends to identify reasonable guidelines for equipment requirements.
* Provide market research on IT trends, pricing, and discount options.
* Collaborate with asset management team to verify deliveries match orders and to log and maintain assets, licenses, warranties, and related documentation.
Qualifications:
* High School with 3 - 6 years IT customer support (or commensurate experience)
* Secret clearance with ability to obtain and keep DEA suitability
