				Overview:

Responsibilities:

Communicates with patients, patient families and/or healthcare professionals in the inpatient and outpatient waiting room environment. Gathers information for EPIC. Maintains and updates the retail point of sale inventory system. Performs a variety of customer-oriented activities including greeting and directing visitors, answering phones and acting as liaison for physicians, clinical staff and patient families.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School graduate or equivalent
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Proficient in word processing and PC based spreadsheet programs
* Working knowledge of computer point of sale retail system including ability to troubleshoot
* Familiar with multiline telecom equipment and paging/PBX operator

Desired Qualifications:

* Working knowledge of Epic
