Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) is a member of CommonSpirit Health(tm), a nonprofit, Catholic health system committed to building healthier communities, advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable, and innovating how and where healing can happen-both inside our hospitals and out in the community.

Creighton University School of Medicine
CHI Health and Creighton University are partners in providing healthcare, education, and research in the Omaha area and beyond. This partnership focuses on improving patient care through collaboration and innovation. CHI Health serves as a primary teaching hospital and research partner for Creighton's health science schools, offering a wide range of opportunities for medical and allied health professionals.
Responsibilities:
Be apart of our highly collaborative team of Pulmonary/Critical Care providers (MD's and APP's)
This is a blended position serving our eICU Service Center with rotation for Critical Care inpatients
* Typically (3) 12 hr shifts. Template for days, nights, weekends and holiday rotation
33% will be day eICU; 33% will be day IP, 33% will be night eICU
* Evaluate patients, new consults, round on existing IP's
* Opportunity to become credentialed to perform procedures (arterial lines, intubations, Central Lines at the bedside without physician oversight).
* IP coverage with Immanuel/Mercy/Lakeside - Rotation those campuses
* Average IP volume 10-15 pts in morning; 2-3 pts in afternoon
* No on call
* Rotational holidays
* "Service center"/eICU is located across from CUMC Bergan campus

Qualifications:
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
* A valid and unrestricted state license or license-eligible
* A valid and unrestriced Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
