Responsibilities:
* Collects and analyzes data via telephone, junket reps, Credit bureaus, central credit, etc., to determine creditworthiness based upon information received.
* Advises the Credit Committee of new marker line requests, limit increases, reactivations, etc. Update the Credit information of Penn Entertainment, Inc.'s existing Credit customers for evaluation. Documents daily and monthly all processed credit requests.
* Updates Credit information of PENN Entertainment, Inc.'s existing Credit customers for evaluation by supervisor.
* Supplies monthly reports to supervisor, showing accumulated record of new accounts.
* Maintains accurate and complete Credit records.
* Answers phones and routes incoming calls; opens and routes incoming mail; types memos and letters; and maintains an organized filing system.
Qualifications:
WORKiNG CONDiTiONS/ESSENTiAL FUNCTiONS - Ability to communicate effectively with customers, outside contacts, and all levels of employees in person as well as on the telephone. - Ability to use a computer keyboard and 10-key. - Ability to review written Credit information, as well as Credit information generated on computer. - Ability to effectively and efficiently move around work area. - Ability to use a computer, typewriter, AS/400 computer system and terminal, Central Credit computer, Credit Bureau, 10-key adding machine, telephone, and computer printer. JOB QUALiFiCATiONS - Effective verbal communication skills in person and on the telephone. - Knowledge of Credit operations, rules and regulations. - Knowledge of interrelated department functions such as Cashiers Cage, Collections, and Casino Services. - Obtain and maintain valid state gaming license. These skills and abilities are typically acquired through six months' Credit experience or closely related field.
