Responsibilities:
The Coverage Attorney is responsible for conducting coverage investigations for commercial liability, professional liability, auto and property claims. The Coverage Attorney is also responsible for, but not limited to:
* Acting as Corporate Representative for depositions in suits against the company
* Identifying coverage issues
* Drafting disclaimers, reservation of rights, rescissions, coverage letters, etc.
* Assigning panel counsel for litigated coverage matters
* Work closely with outside counsel on coverage matters
* Drafting coverage opinions
* Handling specialized projects as assigned by management
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with the following:
* A candidate who possesses a J.D.
* Prior experience with liability, property and/or auto claims
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational and computer skills
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize
