Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:

* Removes VLT cash boxes from slot machines on gaming floor and replaces them with empty cash box using procedures that are within Internal Controls and Ohio State Gaming Regulations.
* Transports all collected cash boxes to the Count Room following predetermined route.
* Counts and verifies all VLT cash boxes and ATM Kiosk funds.
* Runs and straps loose cash to be bundled.
* Operates automated currency equipment to count and process tickets/currency removed from the cash boxes.
* Prepares Drop Card to be verified by Main Banker.
* Completes daily maintenance of all count room equipment and cleaning of the count room.
* Ensures key control procedures are followed.
* Works professionally with other departments as needed to complete tasks.
* Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills.
* Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages etc
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* Required to stand; walk; and use of hands and fingers, handle, or feel.

Qualifications:

* Ability to work early mornings - shift times begin at 4:00am.
* Ability to work four, ten-hour shifts.
* Frequently required to stand; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
* Occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.
* Basic computer knowledge.
* Balances team and individual responsibilities.
* Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views.
* Contributes to building a positive team spirit.
* Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.
* Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.
* Individual must be able to work in an enclosed/secured area, have good ethics and good attendance record.
