Qualifications:
RS&H is growing our corporate legal team and looking for an experienced Paralegal who values Integrity, Accountability, Curiosity, and Teamwork. Ranked among the nation's top 100 design firms, we deliver work across more than 50 countries by showing up for each other and creating tomorrow together.
The ideal candidate will present with broad corporate experience, including contract review and drafting, legal research and writing, litigation and claims management, regulatory compliance, general corporate housekeeping, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Draft and review contracts, including legal terms and conditions as well as scope and fee language.
* Assist with review of contracts for M&A due diligence.
* Responsible for reviewing, tracking, and monitoring legislation that impacts the company's services and/or processes.
* Assist as needed in implementing changes to contracts.
* Assist corporate attorneys as needed in legal research.
* Support and assist with drafting legal documents and correspondence.
Qualifications:
* A bachelor's Degree and Paralegal certification are both required.
* Advanced knowledge of contracts and legal terms.
* Proficiency in electronic uploading and organization of documents.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
* Proficiency in Westlaw
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Superb attention to detail, as well as organizational and multi-tasking skills.
* Demonstrated ability to discretely handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
* Demonstrated ability to recognize conflicts of interest in a corporate environment.
* Experience with professional services in the Engineering/Architecture industry is preferred.
* State Notary is preferred
