Overview:
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead the corporate procurement team driving excellence for Omni Hotels & Resorts - a luxury hotel brand known for its unique properties, award-winning service, and high level of associate engagement. The Corporate Director, Procurement will own all aspects of Omni Hotels' procurement programs that support Omni Hotels' exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
* Work closely with corporate leaders in various disciplines as well as the numerous field constituents on procurement related initiatives
* Ensure procurement strategies align with the company's financial goals and are consistent with brand standards and operational guidelines
* Define and implement purchasing and supply chain management strategies including KPIs
* Support efforts to constantly elevate and differentiate the Omni brand experience
* Develop, maintain and enhance national account programs and strategic partnerships with vendors through relationship building and cost analysis that serve to lower total spend while also providing cost recovery income
* Establish and maintain specifications and pricing for products and services which includes developing and improving SOPs and best practices
* Lead efforts on behalf of new and existing hotels under renovation and/or expansion to ensure delivery of goods and services as required by the project timeline
* Collaborate with the Shared Services AP team and the BirchStreet team to ensure seamless, end-to-end processing and adherence to product/service expectations
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives tailored to the hospitality sector, optimizing procurement and accounts payable workflows
* Lead and supervise a team of procurement professionals to deliver optimal results
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* Minimum of five years in leadership role managing and developing procurement team
* Ten plus years of progressive growth in procurement, supply chain management and/or merchandise management
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain Management
* Experience working in a Shared Service environment a plus
* Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to develop presentations, proposals, standards documentation and various internal communications
* Adept problem solving and business case analytical skills that lead to sound and timely actions and/or recommendations
* Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented and able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Relationship manager, with an aptitude for proactively communicating risk and securing senior-level buy-in within fast-paced work environments with diverse stakeholders/decision-makers
* Hotel and/or Hospitality experience a highly valued
