This Delta-based client is a comprehensive real estate development, investment and management company specializing in residential, retail, office, hospitality and mixed-use projects. Committed to significant asset growth over the coming years, they are looking for an Accountant to manage the accounting for multiple small entities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full cycle corporate accounting for multiple small businesses
* Credit card reconciliations and chargebacks
* Monitor bank accounts and ensure validity of transactions.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual government filings.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to perform monthly variance analysis.
* Manage cash flow forecasts.
* Participate in annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes.
* Document and maintain financial processes and procedures.
Required Skills & Abilities:
* Completion of related accounting courses or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
* Experience with Yardi an asset
* Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Exceptional communication ability, written and verbal.
* Organized and capable of managing a variety of information from various sources.
