Overview:
Position Title: Cook
Reports To: Restaurant Manager
Department: Truck Stop
Position Summary: Safely preparing food items for customer's orders. Keep a clean kitchen
environment along with following time/tempature controls
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
1. Serving safe food
2. Prep and cook all orders
3. Keep work areas clean and sanitized
4. Check cooling equipment frequently for proper temperatures
5. Be on alert for any safety issues and correct them
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma
2. Two years prior food service experience
3. Must have excellent personal hygiene, knowledge of food preparation and serving safe food
4. ServSafe certified; two years prior experience or two years tech school
5. Must be able to stand for long periods of time
6. Able to lift 30+ lbs
