Overview:
Lakeside Hospital a collaboration between CHI St. Luke's Health and a team of specialized physicians- focused on cardiology and interventional cardiology sports medicine orthopedics including total joint replacement and spine care-in The Woodlands community. As the only hospital in Montgomery County to offer sports medicine as a major service line Lakeside Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient care including diagnostic imaging including MRI CT and nuclear medicine.
As a Cook, you will prepare food for our patients, staff, and visitors, following safe cooking techniques. You will take pride and have a passion for cooking for those who cannot cook for themselves. You understand that most guests at our facility dine with us for a reason, and take great pride in giving them one less thing to worry about.
To be successful as a Cook, you should be able to use various cooking techniques and methods to prepare meals that meet our customers' expectations. Ultimately, a top-notch cook should be able to handle multiple food orders without compromising on quality.

Responsibilities:
* Prepares food for patients, staff, and visitors of the healthcare facility following safe cooking techniques.
* Supports quality control measures such as recipe adherence and food quality consistency.
* Maintains kitchen area to state required sanitary standards.
* Completes all tasks on duty while adhering to safety standards and policies of the hospital.
Qualifications:
* Two (2) years Food Service experience.
* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* A Food Handlers Permit is required as outlined below:
