Overview: Cook Grundy County Memorial Hospital Flexible Scheduling: Full-Time (32 hrs/week) with the option to pick up extra shifts to reach 40 hours, or Part-Time Options Available to Fit Your Needs. Shifts Available: 6 AM-2:30 PM or 10:30 AM-7 PM Benefits: Comprehensive benefits are available for both full-time and part-time employees working 32+ hours per pay period, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Responsibilities: We encourage candidates to schedule an extended tour to gain firsthand insight into this role and see if it's the perfect fit for you! * General food production throughout shift. Prepares, portions, and dishes quality foods according to the menu, production schedule, and recipes. * Records and communicates diet orders and changes. With on job education, understands modified diets and food allergies and intolerances providing special requests as needed and always works toward patient nutritional well-being and satisfaction. * Delivers accurate, quality food for patients using exceptional customer service strategies. * Maintains kitchen sanitation, safety standards, and cleaning schedule. Qualifications: * Excellent communication and customer service skills, interest in hospitality and customer service. * Prior hospitality experience recommended but not required. Willingness to be trained and develop skills. * Complete food sanitation certification as provided by Grundy County Memorial Hospital. * Complete modified diet and sanitation study courses as provided by Grundy County Memorial Hospital. * Willing to work as part of a team maintaining a positive, effective work environment.
