Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:

* Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and presentation standards

* Work various kitchen stations including broiler, sauté, pantry, prep, and production

* Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and proper portioning in a fast-paced environment

* Operate and adjust kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, kettles, etc.) safely and efficiently

* Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

* Ensure ingredients are prepped, measured, and stored properly

* Assist with inventory, prep lists, and maintaining par levels

* Support team coordination and smooth kitchen workflow during busy shifts

* Provide excellent internal and external customer service

* Attend required training, meetings, and maintain all necessary certifications

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

* Uphold company appearance, grooming, and uniform standards

* Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cook in a high-volume food service operation

* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, weights and measures, recipe yields, and kitchen sanitation

* Familiarity with operation and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment

* Must possess and maintain personal culinary tools, including professional knives

* Able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently

* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

* Ability to follow visual and oral instructions and respond to cues in a busy setting

* Must be flexible with work schedule, including availability on nights, weekends, holidays, and for overtime as needed
