Overview:
Responsible for preparing all hot and cold food items, ensuring consistency and quality in production. Must ensure all food is prepared and served according to specified standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure kitchen sanitation is maintained according to health department guidelines.
* Ensure the station is set up for service at least 15 minutes prior to service time.
* Required to learn all menu items produced at the assigned station.
* Complete work assignments to meet the required quantities within the designated time frame.
* Handle refrigeration and serving of cold food.
* Produce orders in a timely and efficient manner.
* Adhere to safe food handling procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
* Demonstrate basic knife skills.
* At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced culinary environment.
* Ability to multi-task and adhere to kitchen sanitation standards.
* Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day.
* Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Must reside within 50 miles of the hotel.
