We seek customer facing controls engineers for Salt Lake City, Utah. Our client is a North American leader in mission and safety critical integrated systems, that are designed and operated to solve unique logistics and materials management challenges.
You will design control systems and power distribution for low and medium voltage systems for material handling applications. You will participate in and-or oversee the construction and installation of systems, and their on-going support.
These are direct, full-time salaried positions offering attractive compensation and benefits packages. Local candidates and-or those with strong ties to Utah strongly preferred. At various phases of your projects, you can expect up to 40% travel within the US and Canada.
* Senior role requires 10+ years in the hands-on design of control and power distribution applications for low and medium voltage systems used in material handling applications. Project management and engineering of projects valued at >$1MIL. Solid oral and written communication skills. PLC, HMI and VBA programming. A working knowledge of NEC codes. A Working knowledge of serial, fiber and wireless communications.
* Mid-level role requires 3+ years hands-on exp in the design of controls and power distribution for low and medium voltage systems used in material handling applications.
